It's tempting to stick my sons in sweatpants every day (c'mon, it's easy and I'm always in a hurry). But when I see beautiful bespoke children's clothing, like that of the U.K. label Ziggie Smalls, I remember why it's worth an extra moment to dress them nicely. (Is there nothing cuter than a little boy in a button-up shirt with nicely pressed collar?) According to the brand's blog, Ziggie Smalls was created when a Londoner, Alice, returned from India and southeast Asia with a variety of exotic beads, fabrics and trims. She fashioned them into kiddo threads for her expectant friend, Carrie, who was living in New York. Together, they launched the brand. Shop online here. [Photos via Ziggie Smalls]

Make Like a Tree and Lie Like a Rug
I know we are all trying to love the earth more these days, but is this slice-of-tree rug by German company 0900 Design chic or just plain gaudy? Input, please! I admit I kind of like it. [Tip via Cup of Coco; photo via 0900 Design]
Keep Your Little Big Pants On
It looks like I'm on a cloth plaything kick. My first crush was on Discovery Totes. Now I've flipped for the plush animals and dolls created by Little Big Pants (aka Terra LaChance...um, how much do I love her last name?). If you have too many stuffed animals hanging around the house, how about a "Swimming Audrey" doll (far right) that comes clad in an itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny-polka-dot bikini? Adorbs. Get them on Little Big Pants' Etsy shop. [Photos via Little Big Pants]
